6 Kitchen Fengshui Tips

Practitioners of Fengshui believe that the kitchen represents the element of fire, which fuels the energy that activates your wealth.

So, simple things like the design, space planning and appliance placement can help to bring good or bad luck to the home.

The Stove

Avoid placing the stove at the Northwest sector of the kitchen, otherwise it may lead to a loss of wealth.

Similarly, you should also avoid the East, Southeast and West sector.

Instead, place the stove at either South, Southwest, North or Northeast sector of the kitchen.

The Sink

The sink at the Northwest sector of the kitchen may give rise to a similar effect like the stove.

It should also be avoided at the South and West sector.

A better place for the sink is the East, Southeast, Southwest, North and the Northeast sector of the kitchen.

The Elemental Clash of the Stove and Sink

The stove is of Fire energy while the sink Water energy.

Like water and fire, these 2 items clash when they are placed directly opposite each other or side-by-side.

For side-by-side, leave at least a 1.5 feet gap between them.

The Oven

The oven carries the same energy as the stove. So, follow the rules of the stove when placing the oven in the kitchen.

The best way is to place the oven below the stove so that if the stove is at the right sector, the oven is too.

The refrigerator

The refrigerator carries the same energy as the sink. So, follow the rules of the sink when placing the refrigerator in the kitchen.

The Washing Machine

The refrigerator carries the same energy as the sink. So, follow the rules of the sink when placing the refrigerator in the kitchen.

Conclusion

By ensuring the major items are correctly placed, the kitchen should be in good hands.

Last but not least, although kitchen Fengshui is important, it is just one part when looking at a home’s Fengshui. If you truly want to benefit from Fengshui, I suggest that you find a consultant rather than doing it yourself.
